WordCamp Dhaka 2025 has officially wrapped up. As part of our commitment to openness, we are sharing the full financial report for this year’s event. This includes income, expenses, and how we managed the remaining balance. Our goal is simple. We want everyone in the community to experience transparency and pave the pathway for the future.

Our income came from a mix of ticket sales, sponsorships, and the balance carried forward from 2019. This allowed us to offer a well-rounded experience at an accessible ticket price.

Food, beverage, and venue costs were the highest. These are typical for large WordCamps. Swag, printing, and event management shaped the attendee experience. Complimentary tickets supported contributors, required allocations, and community roles.
What Happens Next
After closing all accounts, WordCamp Dhaka 2025 has a net income of 1,738,504.50 BDT.
Most of this amount has been sent to WordPress Central, and the remaining is in process with proper communication. This practice ensures that unused funds remain within the global community and support future WordCamps worldwide.
