Call for Organizers: WordCamp Dhaka 2026 

WordCamp Dhaka 2026 is calling for organizers to join one of the dedicated teams. If you’re passionate about WordPress, WordCamps, or events, we want YOU on our organizing team!

Organizers are the behind-the-scenes magicians to make a WordCamp successful. And now, it’s time to build the incredible team that will bring this event to life. 

Who Can Apply?

Anyone from the WordPress community who:

• Is enthusiastic about WordPress and community-building
  
• Wants to contribute to a successful, inclusive event
  
• Can commit a few hours each week for planning and coordination
  
• Enjoys collaborating with a diverse team in a respectful, inclusive way
  
• Wants to make a positive impact on both the local and global WordPress community
  

No prior experience in organizing a WordCamp? No problem! We welcome new faces and fresh ideas. If you’re committed and ready to learn, we’ll guide you through the process.

Roles Available:

Organizing WordCamp Dhaka involves a range of exciting roles. You can contribute in areas like:

• Speaker & Sponsor Outreach: Help secure great speakers and build meaningful relationships with sponsors.
  
• Venue & Logistics: Manage venue arrangements, coordinate logistics, and ensure the event runs smoothly.
  
• Design & Branding: Work on the event’s visual identity, from logos to promotional materials.
  
• Website & Social Media: Keep the event website up to date and handle social media updates.
  
• Swag, Photography, Cinematography, and More: Help manage event swag, capture key moments, and add your creative touch.
  

Whether you’re skilled in planning, design, outreach, or promotion, there’s a place for you on the team!

What’s the Commitment Like?

As an organizer, you’ll be expected to:

• Commit a few hours per week (with increased involvement as the event draws closer)
  
• Participate in weekly or bi-weekly planning sessions
  
• Be available in person during WordCamp Dhaka 2026 (exact dates will be shared soon)
