It has been six years since the last WordCamp happened in Dhaka. We know it’s been quite a while. As you all know, WordCamp Dhaka 2025 is making a grand comeback this year. 

Get ready for one of the most exciting WordPress events of the year,  WordCamp Dhaka 2025, powered by YOU! WordCamp Dhaka would be a vibrant celebration of the Bangladeshi WordPress community, where we would come together to connect, share, and inspire one another.

At its heart, WordCamp Dhaka is all about you, the community. It’s a welcoming, inclusive, and diverse space where everyone is encouraged to get involved. Whether you’re a seasoned expert or a fresh face in the world of WordPress, we invite you to be part of something extraordinary.

We’re seeking passionate speakers who want to share their WordPress expertise with the vibrant tech community of Bangladesh and beyond! Whether you’re a WordPress developer, designer, blogger, or business owner – or a fresh face in the world of WordPress, we invite you to grab your chance to take the stage at WordCamp Dhaka.

What are we looking for?

We aim to showcase a diverse range of voices and experiences from the WordPress Community at WordCamp Dhaka. We’re inviting speakers from all backgrounds, particularly Bangladeshi talents, to bring fresh perspectives to the audience. Whether you’re a seasoned WordPress pro or someone eager to share what you’ve learned, we want to hear from you. We encourage first-time speakers, too.

Session Formats

What should you talk about?

The possibilities are endless! We’re seeking speakers who are passionate about WordPress and eager to share something exceptional with the community. Whether it’s a technical deep dive, a story of inspiration, or an innovative use case for WordPress, we want to hear from you.

Think about what drives you in the WordPress space:

• How did you get to where you are today?
• What’s an amazing thing you can do with WordPress?
• How can we push WordPress to new heights?
• Is there a community story that needs to be shared?
• Marketing, e-commerce, empowerment through WordPress — what excites you?

How many talks you can submit?

You can submit up to three proposals. We won’t be accepting additional submissions. If you need to withdraw a proposal or have any questions, please reach out to us.

Do you need to be an experienced speaker?

Definitely not! We welcome speakers of all experience levels. Whether you’ve presented before or it’s your first time, we’d love to hear from you. That said, WordCamp Dhaka attracts a large audience, so having some speaking experience is helpful. But don’t worry! If you feel ready and excited, go for it!

How to apply?

The deadline to submit your speaker application is August 31, 2025, at 11:59 PM BST. We encourage you to apply early so you don’t miss your chance to be part of this exciting event!

WordCamp Dhaka 2025: Call for Speakers Timeline

August 15, 2025	Call for Speakers Opens Speaker applications open for WordCamp Dhaka 2025! Start submitting your proposals for talks, panels, workshops, and more.
August 31, 2025	Call for Speakers Closes at 23:59 BST Last chance to submit your proposal! Ensure your application is submitted before the deadline.
September 1 – September 15, 2025	Speaker Selection and Notification The organizing team reviews all applications to ensure a balanced mix of topics, expertise, and diversity, including local and international representation.
September 16 – September 30, 2025	Release of Official Schedule The official WordCamp Dhaka schedule has been released, featuring speaker sessions, times, and tracks. Speakers are promoted on social media, blogs, and newsletters.
October 15, 2025	Speaker Slide Submission Deadline All speakers must submit their final presentation slides for review, following the slide deck guidelines from the WordPress Community. This gives the organizing team time to ensure everything runs smoothly.
October 18-19, 2025	WordCamp Dhaka 2025 The event takes place! Speakers present their sessions, connect with the community, and share their expertise with attendees from all over Bangladesh and beyond.
